About Me
Hi, I'm Kathy...

Driven by a lifelong passion for the entertainment industry and deep commitment to supporting Mental Health and Wellbeing among creatives, I founded this business to create meaningful change.
My mission is to enhance support for all workers while helping employers build healthier, more sustainable workplace workplace cultures. I offer a wide range of services designed to raise awareness, improve mental health literacy, and provide tangible support. With more than 33 years of experience as an actor, alongside strong qualifications in wellbeing, mental health, and peer support, I bring a comprehensive skill set that bridges creative insight with professional expertise. The sunflower, an international symbol for hidden disabilities, deeply resonates with me. It embodies both beauty and resilience while highlighting the presence of neurodivergent individuals within our industry. I am committed to championing their visibility and empowerment, encouraging people to embrace and celebrate their differences with pride. I proudly support this program through my business, Creative Wellbeing Support. For more information about the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower friendly initiative, click here

At the core of my work is advocacy, empowering individuals to find their voice and self-advocate once the right supports for them are in place. I collaborate with industry leaders, mental health organisations, and creatives to drive systemic change in workplace culture and conditions. Partnerships with organisations like MEAA, Screen Well, The Arts Wellbeing Collective, arts schools, orchestras, art galleries, agents, and production companies allow me the privilege of contributing to this transformation.

I am also a member of the Actors Wellbeing Facilitators Collective (AWFC), an international collective working to improve education and workplace practice for actors.

I'm excited about the opportunity to collaborate with others who share this vision. Together, we can improve mental health and wellbeing across the entertainment, arts and culture industry.
